Come celebrate pride at events across New York State

The New York State Department of Health is celebrating the kickoff to activities and celebrations that will be taking place across the State during Pride Month in June and throughout the summer. Among the events, New York State Department of Health staff will march in Albany’s Capital Pride parade on June 14, and march with Governor Hochul in the New York City Pride March on June 28.

2024 sti surveillance data now available

New York State’s 2024 sexually transmitted infection (STI) data — released in April 2026 and now available on the STI Dashboard NY — points to an encouraging shift in the state’s sexual health landscape. For the first time in years, rates of chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis all declined simultaneously, signaling meaningful progress in STI prevention and treatment across New York.
